P.S. I'm glad you didn't pull my trick. I just had my tanks painted and in the process of putting on the left one I dropped it and put two chips in it.
Damn I felt like an idiot. Cost me another hundred to fix the chips.
If I had dropped the tank.............lets not go there..............
Sure, $240. One guy quoted $600. I only had 1 color and no dents to fix.
Got the tank on, put a gallon of petro in it, she fired right up. New baffles sounded nice.
The "equalizing" hose sprung a nasty leak and sprayed gas on my nice shiney chrome.
Had to drain the tank, wash the bike, get new hose, and take a well deserved ride.......now I have to get the friggin water spots off of her............
Scott - looks BEAUTIFUL!
One thing I forgot to tell you... get Bertha in bright sunlight, and take pics WITHOUT a flash. Using a flash will bounce back SO much light from all that chrome, you can't see a thing!
I guess I can stop worrying about Bertha now. I know she's in good hands. In fact, she's never looked better!
ENJOY... and RIDE SAFE, my friend!
OH! One more thing... Bertha doesn't LIKE getting WET!
Very nice. Can I be nosey and ask what you are having to pay? I'm thinking about having mine re-done after a chip mysteriously appeared during an overnight with a couple of my sons friends who were hanging out in the garage all night. Of course. "I swear none of us went within 10 feet of the bike Dad!" was the response during interrogation. They had no idea how it ended up in 3rd gear either.
When you have teenagers, you find out that pain in the ***, and pain in the neck, are not just expressions! Good luck.

Thanks Ken! I thought you already new you could stop worrying!
I knew, for some reason, the first time I saw her in the for sale forum, I was gonna figure out a way to get her. Then, some guy offered me exactly what I needed for my Kawaharley..........the rest is history.......
And, I cant wait to take a picture in the sunlight! Flash pictures are no good with this much chrome........
