i want your opinion , engine value

Ok, so I'm thinking of buying a ultima engine for my bagger, with that said, how much do you guys think I could get out of my 80 incher ? It's has a fresh top end with 0 miles. Screaming eagle heads, all vthunder valve train. Will have a killer mc Carb coming with it, and arlen Ness big sucker. Bottom end has 25k on it, what are your thoughts ?

I have actually wondered the same thing. I have seen them on ebay for $1200 and these are motors that look beat up with no carb or mods. With that being said there were no bids.

Yea, I seen that too, I mean I understand I'm not gonna get a ton for it. But I'm also not gonna give it away either ,

Well you figure a new motor with no carb is about 2900 for a silver one (I think). So getting 1500 or so for yours (with the mods and the carb) should be rather fair. Just my quick guess.

I just did a quick search on ebay....bone stock Evo with 77k miles is for sale for $1800....I'd try it at $2,000 if I were you....

Ask $2,000-2,300, take $1,900-?, at that price it should move fast. Just make sure you can document the new parts and work done, that will make it worth more. Without documentation all you have is "he said, shee said".
