Years ago, I had one of the stator holddown screws come loose. It destroyed the stator and rotor. I would either use new screws or use loctite. You don't want that to happen.....

+1. I picked up new torx screws to hold the stator, pretreated with red loctite since the manual said don't reuse on bold letters.
