Yer local Indy will have them. Also, your local HD shop can order them or you can order them yourself from J&P Cycle. J&P (1-800-397-4844) is where I get alot of my stuff.

Make sure of the length before you buy. Run a piece of wire or clothesline where you want the cable and make it loose. Turn the handlebars left and right to be sure of plenty of slack and measure them. You don't want to find your mistake in a left turn when your throttle cable tightens up.

Another option denniskirk.com. I've always gottten great service and fast shipping from them. Suggestion above on using a piece of string to route the cable the way you want them to look is the way to go.

don't forget to consider what risers you are going to use. I doubt you would use the stock pullback risers with 16" apes.

Is it ok to use stock risers for 14' apes on my 92 Electra Glide? So far I've only been looking for the bars themselves and cable/wire extension kits.....without much luck actually. I need some direction also. I'm building on a very small budget like most are.

keep in mind also when going to apes to include brake lines, on my 90 fxrs-sp I went with braided lines to keep to look the same, also added to brake stopping power also. Still need to add the speedo cable tho.
