Added another to the stable. Never know where a good deal will pop up.
So I was on my way home from work yesterday. There's this auto repair/motorcycle repair shop on the left side of the road. I glance over and see about ten bikes of various makes and models. But one in particular caught my eye. On the end was a deep red Harley, I could tell it was an evo .....and the sign said for sale. I stopped and the guy came out. I knew who he was , used to work for a local dealer (Harley), I asked him for the specs. He said, it's a 97 evo, dyna wide glide . Has a hyper charger, Ev27cam-Andrews gears-internal and external belt drives......it was an 8 cosmetically , 23,098 miles.....mini apes, Vance and Hines drag pipes......a flat gorgeous evo. I asked the price, he said its on consignment for a friend , 2nd owner.....wife got it for hubby three yrs ago, he died. Needs to sell ASAP to pay bills.
She was asking 5500.00 got it for 5000.00
Life is good...pics to follow.
The face was supposed to be a smiley.....not sur how mr frowns got there.

Reason: I pad grammar errors. Fat fingers
I'm naming it diablo......this thing s going to look sinister sick when I'm done. And all I gotta do is customize, the cool part is for 5 grand I got a killer low mileage evo. I drove it around the town, then took her to the highway.....I won't know until I open it up but I'm certain this is a beefed up 1340...... My bet is its been refit with some shall we say larger innards. I'm stoked I took one quick pic but left my cell at work. I'll post it tomorrow. My best bro was livid jealous.....I'm not sure why she sold it to me so cheap I know the dealer would have matched it if not better. It nearly threw my big *** off the back!
