Default Replacement fuel pump?

My fuel pump on my 95 Ultra is making alot of noise and I want to replace it, problem is I can't find one. Bought one off ebay and its not right. Its a Walbro pump AW 176 06295-1 Pat. No. 4500270. Anyone know where I can find one??

Have your local dealer check on his computer to see if another dealer has one.

If you can't find a HD, look the specs up on the Walbro site and cross it over. Chances are it is pretty common.

I bought a ebay used HD pump for Dr.Linda's Sportster conversion to EFI. It didn't work. That sucked. Used fuel pumps are probably bad.

Yeah, there usually is a reason people take them out!!!! Plus it may have been working, but after it dried out it could seize.

I'm pretty sure the one I bought on ebay seized after it was out. I've had the same problem with fuel pumps I've pulled from known running systems and put on the shelf. Years later, zip. I wound up using a new pump for a Victory that I mounted to the down tube on Dr.L's bike. I thought the Victory pump might have less of a current draw, but it also was just a generic Walbro pump, at a markup, of course.

Have seen a couple of used ones, but I'm very reluctant to buy used. Google searches have turned up nothing. Nothing crosses over on the Walbro site (that I could find). I'd hate to see what a dealership charges me IF I find one. Surely someone else has had to replace a pump??
