Default Front end shake

I recently had my '93 FXR (P) converted to a wide front end, and lowered. Just noticed at idle the front tire vibrates and I don't remember that before. Nature of a wide conversion or something wrong? The front shocks also seem rather soft: don't really compress much at all when I sit on the bike but with downward pressure I can get them to travel about an inch and a half, with ease.
Thanks.

Oh, and sorry all you fxrists- I'm getting old and just like to go straight mostly now. Yes, not nearly as agile with the new front forks.

My 95 fxstc has a wide glide front, doesn't compress much sitting, does more compressing during braking, and the front wheel bounces like a basket ball at idle. I'm guessing it's normal.

Front end vibes at idle are normal but your forks are too soft. They may have cut the springs when lowering it or just not put enough oil in. Progressive springs and the normal amount of oil would be a good starting point.
