Choke cable
Just undo the 11/16 nut at the back of the bracket that holds the choke ****, then remove the carby (don't forget to turn the gas off) unhook the VOES vacuum pipe and also, on reassembly, fit a new carb to manifold rubber.
The choke cable just unscrews from the carby body. Always a good idea to tie a string to the choke **** as you remove the carby and transfer that string to the new choke **** to make it easier to refit.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE 11/16 NUT WHERE IT MOUNTS ON THE BRACKET!!!! Its on a plastic thread and is real easy to break.

It's one piece, costs about 12 bucks.
You have to remove the carby to get the cable out of the carby body, No need to remove the tank, that's just a pain in the butt doing that.
BTW....I have been waiting for someone to chime in with "Its not a choke it's an enrichener" but alas, I have been let down once more by the interwebs :-) :-) :-)

Okay gat as far as the air cleaner and the three screws for the back plate. I'm gonna have to gat a little more forcefull with the head breather bolts. When I put it back together am I going to need to get a torgue wrench for it or is as snug as I can get it acceptable. What are the chances of me snapping something by going too tight?
Are the Evo guys really that **** retentive?
