Man it’s running like absolute **** now. The original reading was 0.081 - I have S&S high compression heads not sure if that makes a difference but it was running fairly well with the original TPS setting at 0.081 - think I’m going to flip it back to that setting - anyone have a similar experience? If I go back to 0.081!should I set the cold to 0.650 again?
Try redoing the procedure. Make sure both idle screws are backed way out. Also make sure that the butterfly plate is completely closed and not held open by a little piece of trash or something. Adjusting the TPS to .275 is tricky. I loosen one screw then tighten it back to snug. I then loosen the other one and snug it. Then I look at the voltmeter and adjust the TPS with light taps with a small hammer so I can sneak up on .275. Then tighten down both screws and double check the reading. It's a good idea to put some blue locktite on both idle screws so they don't wander around. They are still adjustable just a little sticky with the loctite. I think the setting for the cold idle is .650 but I don't remember.

A couple of notes. Make sure you don't have any stored fault codes in the memory. Also, the factory TPS settings make the bike run lean. Take a look at your plugs Are they ash colored?

When I did this procedure to my bike it ran quite a bit better. Run through the procedure again and report back.

Default Found a good procedure that worked very well

Found this procedure and followed it step by step and it all worked as expected.

My final steps were to drop the idles a bit this has them up a bit higher than I liked them and it’s running great now.

I will give my way to easily set up the TPS MM EVO.
1- if it is possible, on a hot engine, disconnect the IAC (stepper motor)
2- use a multimeter to set TPS to .275v.
3- set the hot speed screw to .650v then set the cold speed screw to .750-800v
4- set the switch to off, plug in the IAC cube, turn the ignition off with the ignition switch. (values for motorcycles without a tachometer)
3- start the engine and set the revolutions to 900-950 with the screw of warm revs, then set the revolutions to 1300 revolutions with the screw of cold revolutions.
4. turn the engine off with the off button, plug in the IAC cube and turn off the ignition with the ignition switch.
5- turn on the button to ON, then turn on the ignition for 15 seconds, then turn off the ignition for 20 seconds, turn the ignition on again for 15 and turn it off for 20 seconds.
6- start the motorcycle and warm it up to high temperature.
7- turn off the motorcycle and the detachable battery for 15 minutes.
8- turn on the motorcycle, reverse the warm speed screw with half a turn, turn it off and enjoy the ride.
If it seems to you that after the entire procedure your motorcycle is too low or too high revs, you must repeat the whole procedure and in point 3 you make the correction according to your preferences and preferences.”
