Compliance fitting
One thing at a time (wallet is booby-trapped). I was in SFO yesterday and stopped in to check out California Choppers. Sheeeeeit... just like Toys-R-Us but more expensive. Picked up the little air pump for the suspension, as well as the manifold and related parts. Weekend project, probably on Sunday. The carb comes later, it's on the list.
For that kind of money you can get a new custom-built CV from Dale's Killer Carbs and have a few bucks left over for the manifold/air cleaner conversion. Several members here have gotten these carbs recently and enthusiastically endorse them. I got mine from Wood, but if I had known about Killer Carbs beforehand, I might well have gotten one of those instead and saved a few bucks. The Wood-built carb is a marvel, but it ain't cheap.
If you don't upgrade the carb now, within the year you will probably be thinking about it again, particularly if you make any other performance-oriented mods, like free-flowing exhaust/air filter or a cam.

Does he only do business on eBay? Too bad. I don't do eBay. Long story related to inconsistently applied rules and corporate arrogance.

I imagine you could contact him and see if he is willing to do business outside of eBay.
He doesn't list a way to contact him outside eBay and I can't find a regular web site for him. I'll keep looking.
