Yeah, it is the one with the candy orange/root beer paint.
I wish it still had the original brown seat, but it doesn't.
Here is a pic from pickup day, yesterday.
I really need some mid controls bad for it, I never really liked forwards.
If anyone wants to swap mid controls for forwards, this one has some nice newer forward controls on it that work perfectly.

That's really a beautiful bike. Congrats.
I'm with you on the mid controls, but I'd still leave the speedo/tach just where they are. If anything, I'd put some taller shocks on her, and raise up that *** for some more ground clearance and suspension travel.
Yes, what TCBronson says.
I'd buy those gauge housings and the bracket off you if you want to sell them.,
But, that aside, nice looking bike - enjoy it!
ps - I like your temporary license plate - lol.
Excellent tips , and bike compliments. Thanks very much! That is exactly the kind of info I was looking for.
I realized yesterday what it was about the gauge set up that was bugging me, it was the raised and pulled back risers, which moved the guages up 2 or 3 inches and back a couple of inches away from the headlight.
I picked up stock height lower risers, and a bunch of mid - control parts used from a local shop yesterday, so I have work to do now on it. I imagine i'll need a new rear master cylinder too, before it is over with.
I can't get rid of the gauge/brackets as my "FXR CUSTOM 612 OF 1050" plaque is attached to the bracket.
great feedback thanks... I'll post some pics in a few days with developments...
I agree with this 100 percent. I still had 2 steps up on the shock preload ramp when this pic was taken. That helped a little for now, but for SURE I do plan on getting longer and better shocks in the rear. thanks.
