Cruising speed 1985 FXWG
Hey guys I just pick up this beautiful 1985 FXWG 4speed with a kicker. I have no experience with a 4 speed. And I haven't been able to run it out on the frwy yet. On other biker I have had 80/85mph was what I would ride at. My question is for those of u with a 85 FXWG or with a 4speed. What's a good cruising speed? 65/70/75mph. Any feed back I would appreciate. Thanks a lot.

You will find a comfort zone somewhere between 65 and 70 mph.
You will also find a need to do less shifting when down at the lower speeds. This bike and all from around that year were built to comply with the 55mph speed limit that was in effect.
