When I got mine back, it was correct for my model year; ie: bottom breather, but with the latest case version, etc. Now I don't know for sure what they would do with a shovel/evo, but my guess is they would probably send back the latest version evo setup to be a bottom breather. The OP should probably call the MoCo and ask. They would be able to tell him what they will do.

The impression I have, after reading several recent threads on HDF, is that if you want a stock motor this is a win-win program! For example TC88s now get the latest spec cam chain tensioner kit and it seems we get the latest spec beefed up casings. A reman engine might even be a decent way of starting a rebuild for a tuned engine, as all the major parts are new.

Kinda nice that you can finance it.....if interest isn't ridiculous that is. I guess it's based on individual credit. Its also nice to get the newest version of HDs best motor from your original serial number.
