Default 85 Electra Glide headers needed

Anyone have an original set of head pipes for an 85 evo Electra glide they want to sell? Just rebuilt enclosed chain and end of original pipes are cracked at the flange where the pipes mate.

If you want the original style, with the flared ends, you may have problems finding them. Later stock pipes up to 2008 will fit, using the later style mufflers. Take a look at Ebay, there are s/h later pipe sets, also mufflers, going for sale at present.

if you don't have the ability to weld them, take the pipes to a muffler shop and have them welded up. no need to buy new ones. the pipes on my 85 have been welded in a couple of spots.

Yeah, just get a whole exhaust from a twinky up to 2008. That's what I did. And don't ride the bike until you get that fixed, or you could wind up doing this:

which is what happened to me.

Never thought of having them welded - good idea or mayjust go the newer pipe route. Thanks all.

I looked all over for a complete setup for my 1985 FLTC and just bought a set of headers and pipes taken off a 2005 when it was new from one of the members here on the EVO board. I looked all over for a complete setup for my 1985 FLTC and had no luck.
