Hi Guys
Was wandering with those of yous that work on sportys as well as the BT evos if the same bearing puller used for an evo cam can be used on an 86 883 for pulling the cam bearings? My son got some andrews cams and wants to do all the cam bearings and I figured I can probably use the tool myself at some time or another so if its the same I will buy it. Also wheres a good place to get one?
Thanks much
I went to the local welding and hardware shop and created one from stock on the wall. Oriielly's will rent the item for free. Even if your local parts store does not have it Orielly's personnel said the policy requires them to order one. Good Luck. I am a novice and I did my cam pilot bearing without much trouble.
I recently changed the bearing on my EVO and used a Harbor Freight blind bushing puller to remove and a Harbor Freight bushing/bearing driver to install. I froze the bearing before installing and it went in easy.
