Cam Bearing

I just noticed that with all the recent parts I bought the cam bearing I recieved is not a Torrington. It is a Timken. I know Timken is a good brand, so am I OK, or should I get a Torrington before I go any further? It is NOT an INA, and the original I pulled out is a Torrington (seemed like a good idea to replace it while I was in there).

As long as the bearing is the same as the torrington design, I do not see that it would matter.

If I remember right, Torrington is now owned by Timken. You should be good to go. Just remember when you put in the brg. that the lettering is on the outside so that you can see it when the brg. is installed.

thats the way I installed it, but thanks for the tip. the shape indicates it would be installed that way, but you have to be paying attention to notice the difference.
