Default HF Tow behind trailer

Any members here in the states, own this tow behind motorcycle trailer - made by Harbor Freight (China Freight)? http://*******.com/29bcqng I have been tossing around the idea of a motorcycle trailer, to tow behind my 97 RK, on long cross country trips. The price on the HF trailer is pretty reasonable. I know 12" tires would probably be better than the 8" ones.
I never towed a trailer behind a bike before - but have heard from others', that once you get use to it, it's not that difficult. I know the MPG will drop - but that's to be expected. It would be nice to be able to pack a larger tent, and some extra clothes - on longer trips

An aside - a few years ago, while visiting family in Nebraska, heading west on I80 - I saw a guy towing a Scamp (small live in RV) behind a Goldwing. The guy was going 60 mpg in the slow lane. I am sure he had the throttle pegged, and that's all she would go I wouldn't have had the guts to pull that thing behind a bike : (

That's a cute little thing. I bet it would make for a nicer trip having room for more stuff.

I built this from the HF trailer:

I cut it down so that it is the same width as my bike. I figure if the bike can make it through, the trailer can too.

Dr. Hess and Traildog,
Thanks for the replies! I made an error and posed my 'HF trailer' posting on the Evo board (seeing I am always here, I guess), instead of the Touring or Trailer forum. Maybe the moderator could send this post there? Anyways, it looks to me as the Harbor Freight motorcycle trailer is the best bet for the $. Seems all these trailer are made in China anyway, unless you build your own.

Oh, you're talking about the HF trailer already put together. They came out with that after I made mine. I used the HF 40x48 or something, cut it down and put the car top on it. I tubed the car top to act as a fender. This gave me the narrow width I wanted. If you just want simple, easy and cheap, the all-in-one from HF would be the way to go.

I think you have to worry more about braking distance than fishtailing.
