Mountainkowboy,
Sorry to hear about the loss of your ride. Hope you can find another one in the future! I know from personal experience, how hard things are right now - financially. Have a lot of friends as well, who are barley making ends meat. Unfortunately, I think worse times are ahead for us in the states (as a result of the commander in chief).
actually times ahead are looking up...at least for me,I'm a contractor and my phone started ringing about the 5th of January and hasn't stopped, right now I'm backed up for weeks on signed jobs and I havent seen things this busy since Clinton was President,I think people just got to the point that they couldn't wait any more to get things done, and around here I have seen many new homes being built so keep you head up because I really believe that this year is going to be good and it all starts with homes and construction
I have a friend that use to own nearly everything. The large home, newest of the cars, and all the toys a person could buy. Unforseenable events led him to downsize...
Ten years later....that person seems alot more happier now in life. Fact is, we're probably closer friends now.
if you don't mind moving, there are lots of jobs in south texas in the oilfield. after all the exploration and drilling is done, there will be many production and maintenance jobs too. this boom is going to be here for many years.
