87 Electra Glide fairing removal
I found numerous videos and articles on removing fairings from late model Electra Glides. Is there tips, step by step instructions or videos for our antiquated rides?

Remove 4 bolts holding the light bar to the forks. Put a rag over the fender and lay the light bar on the rag/fender. Remove headlight trim ring. Remove screws holding headlight bucket, unplug headlight and remove headlight bucket. Remove screws and nuts holding windshield on. Remove windshield. Use a 7/16" ratcheting box end wrench and remove 4 nylock nuts inside the faring holding the faring to the brackets. Remove faring.

Thank you...now I now why your the Doctor!
I just removed the windshield last month and had to make a special screwdriver for the removal of the two hard to get screws inside of the fairing...got to find that homemade tool again..
