yes i figured that much. if you flip my speedo over it says 1:1 on the bottom. if you have a 2240:60 hub i was wondering if your speedo matched the hub or do you have something else.
BUT i know just as much now as i did before i asked. does it have to match the speedo, is it a stock FLH, or is it a 2:1?
A 1:1 speedo has to be driven off the trans... will not work with a drive on the front wheel. You have a rotary top trans....they do not have a speedo drive. SO you need a 2:1 speedo...2:1 drive for front wheel...

The drive gear has to match the speedometer.
I know the drive gear on mine is the 2240:60 but I have never taken off the speedometer to look at the back.
I have to agree with Tom you need a different speedo.
