Won't start after doing top end rebuild

Finally got some time off work to get back on problem. The manifold was out of alignment with carb. Put back together, now it starts good with enricher. When warmed up, I turn off enricher and it sounds real good at idle of 1,000-1,000 rpms and will continue to idle at that speed. When I start to gently twist throttle, it dies instantly. Would mid range circuit be kicking in at 1,100 rpm? The carb sat off bike on workbench for two months while I was doing top end on motor. After the motor was back together and would not run without enricher, I took carb back apart and checked float level. I plan to take carb back apart and soak body overnight in laquer thinner. Low speed screw is 2.5 turns out and float is set by manual, however I will recheck. I will start with air filter off to see if slide is opening when throttle is opened. Any other ideas, I believe it is something real stupid I have done with the carb while apart. Any help appreciated!!

The different jet ranges kick in as you twist the throttle, regardless of the rpm. I had this exact issue, and my intermediate jet was the culprit. It was completely clogged, so when it needed to kick in and transition from idle to full throttle it couldn't.
