Check me if I'm wrong

Coil ok, leak down ok, plug wires ok, and plugs ok right?

The only thing I can think of right now is an intake leak.

It takes fuel spark and compression---------run a jumper ground to the spark plug towards the base and try that----------once upon a time I saw a plug that couldnt ground even though it was screwed into metal.A over abundance of never seize and other junk prevented it from grounding.THen the only other thing is you arent positive where the air is going and you have a bad enough valve it isnt getting every thing at the right time on that cyl--------------30 % down into the sump is different than 30% out a valve or valve guide

well my thoughts are at 30% leak down no it would take the path of least resistance probably making the back cyl run richer than normal if you saw anything.MAke sure all of the vacuum ports are plugged as well-----check vacuum lines and make sure you dont have one with a big split that might seal cold-------then redo the intake it isnt that costly

SWEET! That kinda gets me excited because the rear cylinder is running extremely rich.

there is also that vaccum switch that hooks into the intake that mounts behind the carb that can be unhooked with a healthy back fire so study that well too vacuum hose wise. or at least on my evo any way
