compression test procedure question

intersting---------I have never seen that before and will double check the next time I do it.The smoke yes but usually the ones I tested didnt run after the test for a while so that never happened either

In my case, had somthing going on in the front head with the exaust valve guide,but yea, cold it was 90 psi on the front and 120psi on the rear, and once the motor was warmed up, BOTH gained exactly 10 psi on the compression test.

10 psi gain when hot is about what I would expect.

I got 120 front and rear cold.

checked my old evo last night-------------110 and about 108 with oil,going to check hot today hopefully.Rode the streetglide yesterday and still havent got used to the heel and toe shifter after all the years of forward controls------really going to screw with my feeble mind by going back lol

I have forward control footboards with heel and toe.....easy once you know how :-)

LOL-------------I have never shifted this thing with my foot as my ankle is shot I hook it with my heel.hard habit to break.But today I didnt have near the issue as the old ladies *** got tired and she got off early in the day.I hope she cries uncle soon

unless you're a tad sick in the head

im @ 175psi front / 170rear when its cold. same, gained about 10psi when shes nice and warm.
