Has anyone wired a Crane Cams HI-4E module (model 8-3100)?
I am looking for the function of each wire on a Crane Cams HI-4E module that goes into the 7 pin plug as I want to wire it directly without the plug.
The 7 wires are:
-Red
-Purple
-Blue
-Black
-Green with white
-Red with white
-Black with white
That diagram tells you all you need to know! Strip the cover off the wires on each side of the plugs, to match the wires up on each side. The other wires are explained.
Sorry but I should of explained that the module does not include the lead.
You would think Crane would include the lead also as it is a major part of the installation.
It only includes the module as seen in this picture.
