Default Passing lamps problem

Hi all.
Apologies in advance if this problem has been covered. The lamps/bulbs in my passing lights keep blowing, sometimes after a week or so, and some times as soon as they are fitted. Im using the par36 12v sealed units. Id appreciate any advice.
Thanks in advance

Check your grounds and then the other connections. If they are ok then put a volt meter on the battery and see what you have with the engine reved as high voltage will blow bulbs and other things.

If your voltage is too high at higer RPMs - you might need to have your regulator replaced.

I agree with Darkside. Perform the Dr Hess charging system test (sticky above).

Thanks guys, I will carry out the tests you suggested, my regulator is pretty new, I replaced the stator and regulator around 1000 miles ago.

Thanks again
