Thanks Twowheels. You guys have been a lot of help. I got my cam out and it has a stamp on it D Y 143. If any one out there knows what this puppy is, let me know. The bearing has a stamp on it saying something like York, but I have the good bearing coming in the mail. So in the meantime I ordered a set of Andrews ez install chrome moly pushrods and lifters. The adjustables that was in there was a pain to get out. If it wasn't for installing a new cam, you would have had to undo the top end. I am going to install the S&S Reed Valve so when I button this Fatty up, I know darn well what I have in it. I think I will be happy with the EV 27. Most of the guys on here are. Oh, I just recieved my Hooker Trouble makers. Very impressed with the quauilty of work. Big puppies. The old farts around here is going to be pissed but they will know when I am going and coming for sure.

Hey Twowheels, Thanx again. That was the exact tool I needed. About 3 pulls and it was out. Took me longer to go get the tool than it took me to getthe bearingout. Did see a number stamped on the back and it was the correct bearing. But that is alright, I know I will have all new stuff when I button it up.

Glad to hear it, that puller is definitely the way to go. I just used the old cam to tap in the new cam bearing. If you leave the breather gear in place, the cam teeth will help you line it up so the bearing goes in straight.

It was almost too easy
