I have had a noise in this 127" after 3-4k. Thought I had a bad lifter or loose compensator sprocket. I replaced the lifters and no change, tightened the compensator, no change.
I figured I would tear it down and see what I could find. In the process of breaking it down, I found the Ultima front exhaust pushrod rocker end, swiveled in my fingers once I had it cleaned off. Thought that was a little odd, so when I checked the rear exhaust pushrod, the ball end that goes to the rocker actually came out pretty easily....
I have not used Ultima pushrods before, and since they have no tech line to ask, have any of you guys got some experience with these Ultimas you can share on this. I would love it to be a simple as replacing the pushrods.
Any help appreciated. Will try and post a picture if that helps any.

These Ultima parts are kind of weak. I wonder if I can get Andrews to fit on this type of lifter block design etc? Imagine on this stroke it might be more specific.
