Default EV27 cam and..........?

For my 92 FXSTS Springer, 15,000 mile original so I'm trying to stay as close to stock looking as I can.

Doing an Andrews EV27 cam, can I leave the stock A/C & filter, and the stock slip ons, can I maybe just drill out or alter the baffles? Does anyone know the part # for SE II slip ons from back in the day, maybe find a set on E-Bay?

Thanks.

The short answer is yes you can leave the stock A/C and filter.
You don't have to mess with the slip-ons if you don't want to.

I would keep the original air cleaner hardware (backplate and etc) but change an air filter element. It gives more air but you still have the original air cleaner. Here is K&N alternative for stock air filter element:

I bought my first evo from the oo back in March. I had never been on one prior so I had nothing to compare it to, except twinkies. When I had her gone through at HD, they told me the carb would have needed attention along with the different pipes over stock.....based on the ev-27 that I knew was in her. I think they may have said something about the air cleaner too, Idk? How can I tell if mine is stock and, if it is, what would the one you are suggesting do for performance? My baby is what I would call kind of a pig. But from maybe 55 mph up, she has some ball$$ if I get on her. This is typical of this cam, no?

It's K&N HD-1390 as far as I remember. It should fit 1990-1999. Last time I bought it in HD dealership. The price online is ~40-45$
