Default CB How to use

Can someone please explain how to use the cb while riding to talk to other riders in nearby proximity. Doing a 1000 mile in 24hr ride and many of the group have cb radios to talk. I have a 1989 Electraglide Ultra Classic. Do I need to buy a pair of helmet headphones? A microphone... want to spend less than $50 and leave tomorrow at 3am so cant wait for shipped stuff (Best Buy, Radio Shack?)
Thanks

You do need a head set. Unfortunately I don't know of a off the shelf place except your local Harley dealer. Now if you had time I could suggest a online source. My 85 didn't have a CB. Do you have the 7 pin connector? If so then your Harley dealer is your best source.

If I were in need of something like that quickly, I would probably try the local stealer, HD, Honda, or BMW.

You can buy a boom headset it works good enough... You can use it with a 1/2 helmet...get it at the dealer.

First thing you gotta do is get old; real old. Then you have to lose the better part of you hearing so you have to have the volume at Patent MFing Pending. Then you'll need to stop in at the dealer and have them hardwire your left blinker ON.

Roll out into the passing lane at 58mph and you're golden;-)
