Default 1992 Softail Trunk installation

I am looking a putting a leather trunk on my Heritage, but can't find anything for my year bike when I am looking at parts. Anyone ever put a leather trunk on your flstc? If so, what brackets were used? If there isn't a bracket to purchase does anyone know what the difference is between my 92 and the newer bikes that allows them to mount the bracket and the trunk? Any help would be great.
Thanks.

I saw a nice one Harley makes for the newer models that can be installed in the normal position on a rack behind the sissy bar or installed as a rider back rest.

Three things wrong with it:

For newer models, I for got what year it starts.
Ridiculously expensive.
Capacity was 2,500 whereas the wheel around that I paid a lot less for is 3,100

Still, it looked pretty sharp.

I found it. It is made for 2000 on up.

The mounting rack for it is sold separate

When I put mine on I just got a leather one from a local shop.

I painted a board black and attached it to the luggage rack.
Then I strapped the bag to the sissybar and to the board.

Yep. The cost is stupid expensive for what it really is the capacity it is, which is why I didn't buy it. The tour pack is sold separately from the rack, and both are stupid expensive, bringing the cost to nearly $900 for a capacity of 2,500 cubic inches. Cost vs. benefit is terrible despite looking good.

My goal with posting it was to generate home brew ideas that would feature a similar style or look.

Prot,
What do you mean by wheel around? I have been looking at the components that you have link for, but have been looking for used ones where the rack is coming with the trunk. I just couldn't find anything that would show it fitting a 92.
THC and Cowboy mention putting it on the luggage rack, but I don't have one on my bike and the dealer told me that they did not make one for the 92. He stated that it was an odd transition year and that the 93 and up were different somehow and he couldn't actually explain what was different. So I figured it would have to be the mounting bracket that the rear fender mounts to on each side. I have the sissy bar for the two up but no where to mount a luggage rack that I can see.

Are there holes in the legs of the sissy bar?
Mine has holes in it and that is where the luggage rack mounts.

This is the roll around I recently purchased:

http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...ng-touring-bag

The nice thing about it is once you get to the hotel, you just pull it off the bike, extend the handle, and roll it instead of having to carry it. The back of it has a spandex sleeve that slides over the sissy bar then you use the two straps on the back to cinch it down. There are also numerous d rings to attach bungee cords to for more stability or to attach additional cargo, etc. it also comes with a rain cover. It can mount on a rack behind the sissy bar or if you are riding solo, it can mount on top of the passenger pad. Perhaps it's somewhat pricey, but it is well made and has nice features. The dealers usually have them in stock, so you don't have the risk of buying sight unseen.

Prot that is a really nice bag, but I don't have any holes in my sissy bar to mount the luggage rack as mentioned by THC.
