Well, I might have to sell the bike. My truck fire is rearing it's head, and the bike might be the only way to keep it going or get another one. But after HarDlife's experience, I'm scared to death to let anyone take it for a test spin. I sure couldn't afford another rebuild. Just venting.....
When I was buying, the guy let me and my brother in law both take it for a spin! Nice guy. I'm not a nice guy, I'm a *****!
When my son went to look at a Sportster, the owner got 'all weird', because I pulled the clutch lever and ran the trans through the gears. And I was just standing next to the bike, not sitting on it. He probably would've busted a cap in my a$$ if I swung a leg over it.
Never heard of bike sabotage before until Hardlife's thread...when ever I was buying or selling a bike, the full purchase amount was handed over before the bike was taken for a ride, no money no ride. This also weeds out the tyre kickers. People who sabotage a bike or car etc.. must be really F%^&*#D up.

Man, that sucks, but, I like you, will lets the toys go if I need cash.
Yeah priorities can be a pain, I had to sell my bike once when we adopted my sister in laws baby, not planned and on short notice one week old , so I had to sell the bike to pay for the lawyers etc... he's 13 now and a great boy and now I have a bike again. You never know what life has in store for you.. I'm sure all will end well.
