Default Rear brake line questions

Hi all, Im changing the rear brake line on my 1995 Road king. Now the original line on the bike at the moment has the flexible line up to the brake light switch where it changes to a thin rigid line, which appears to run through the black nut on the back of the switch, then continues in the rigid line until nearer the master cylinder where it reverts back to a flexible line. My question is, the new stainless brake line kit that I have purchaced is a one piece item that will obviously run from the master cylinder to the caliper. Do I still use the original brake light switch? there is a new switch included in the kit, will this fit at the master cylinder end?
Applogies for my ignorance, and I would appreciate your input. Hopefully the photos of the new and old will help clarify.
Thanks

I would put it at the caliper end myself. Less wires to run to connect into the system.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like a banjo bolt that connects the brake like to either the caliper or the master cylinder.
