Default Spark plugs

Living in a country with no HD dealer it's really hard to get OEM parts even the smaller as brake pads , oil filter ... Heard that the best spark plugs to use are the HD ones and all others ( NGK ...) work too but never as good as the originals , is it true or you didn't notice any difference ?
Thnks

NGK are fine, any plugs are fine if they are the correct grade. You won't notice any difference.

If they are available, Autolite 4265's for Evo's are cheap and plentiful here. Perhaps you can get them there?

Stock HD plugs for and EVO are 404 (RN12YC) champion plugs, I get them for 1.50 to 2.00 apiece at the auto parts store. I've tried autolight and my bike didn't like them. I run NGK's (good but pricey) in our dirt bikes but not the HD.

I'm using NGK Iridium 2115 / BPR5EIX-11 gapped at 0.041". They work fine. And I use the same filter that I use on my Toyota RN Truck (22R motor). You should have no trouble finding that filter anywhere in the world.

Harley do not make plugs, they just brand them, so don’t be stuck on using “originals”.

By the way, your bike looks awesome.

Cheers
