no the seller showed me. Theres a cap where the air is added and a hose that goes to both forks. I am pretty sure some Dyna's had this but this is theonly one I looked at that did. Let me check the service manual see if its in there

OK I don't see it in my 1997 OEM parts books or the OEM service manual. Maybe it is custom? Well that's one cool thing then! Let me see if I have a picture of it.

That is a photo showing it just under the indicator lights. See the screw cap top on the left side fork and the braided tube that goes to top of the other

I'm not sure, but the fork legs look like Kawasaki sport bikes.

Its all Harley and I have seen these before....why do you think some Dyna's have those little cap screws in the top fork nuts??? It's to fit air suspension!

3. Bike would not start. I got a click when I pushed the button.
2. Cut it off.

3. Batteries will short out internally. They will give the impression that they are fully charged, but put a load on them (horn, lights, starter), and they will puke. Take it to an AP store and have it load tested.

Make certain the connection where the Voltage regulator plugs into the Stator is good. This is a crap design and will cause all kinds of problems if there is an intermittent connection. Ya gotta trust me on this one, having been stranded in various parking lots while on road trips, and going through batteries every two years.

Shop is checking horn --its there for tires, fluid changes, inspection. But I will check the things you mentioned too!

Thanks,

Black oil doesn't happen, except in Diesel motors, very dark brown is what you'll get in gasoline motors and its not necessarily a harbinger of Armageddon....its just dirty oil or sloppy oil changes.

Get one of those devices that gets all the oil out of the system and do a change using that...eventually, after a few changes it will come clear but on a used bike it seldom comes fully clean.
