Hi Guys,
I just picked up a 99 Softie on Saturday for a song and a dance. She was rode hard and put away wet and needs some attention to bring her back to her glory days. I need to get a manual for it and am not sure if factory manual would be best or if an after market one would have more . I am going make this my winter project by tearing it down to the frame and build it back up. The issue is the motor is not orginal to the bike, but the guy believes it is the same year. I am not putting much faith into his insight due to the fact he clearly did not know how to take care of the bike, or did not care period. Any insight would be greatly apprecaited...I am anxious to get started as ya can imagine. Thanks again for the direction.
