Installed a Throttle Up Brace to solve my bagger wobble issues
Since the new guys don't have these issues I got crickets on my post last week in the Touring forum.
Thought some of my fellow Evo guys might find this interesting. Really makes the bike feel solid.
Thanks again GRBRown! Hmm no Union Jack flag...sorry about that.

I did some research here and decided to buy the Throttle Up brace. It is a nice piece made here in the USA that came well packaged and arrived quickly. It is from what I can see the least expensive brace.
I installed it in about an hour - the instructions are good, warning you of some tight fit areas and what to do before tightening everything up. It's an easy job, no jack required. I would have been done a lot quicker except my dogbone has seen the business end of a jack over the last 18 years and so needed a little help getting back into shape with my trusty 16 oz persuader. On my EVO the part that fits into the dogbone that connects to the oil pan brace was about ⅛ too short and interfered with one edge of the dogbone, requiring me to bend part of the dogbone out of the way a little. No big deal.
I have to say I am VERY pleased with the result on the bike. GRBrown goes into great depth as to why it works in his thread, but I can tell you, it really does work. The bike feels very planted now, you can shake the bars and no unwelcome feedback from the back of the bike. Seems much more steady and ready to lean into turns as well. Overall a great mod for not much money; it really made the bike a lot more tossable and fun to ride. I am frankly surprised it works so well for such a simple item, and thought I'd share my experience.
doesn't fit my 86 glide unfortunately, however have made my own kit up which does essentially the same thing
The True-Track does! Probably the only one that will. T-T invented the stabilizer kit and have successfully patented it, the others are all copies. I've had two of them over the years, one on a Dyna, and they transform the ride and handling. Jolly well worth fitting one!
