What are the food prices like? We'd want to by some nice steaks, maybe lobster for a nice meal too......

Lobster is horrifically expensive, steak is cheap, especially if, like me, you grow your own

Its not as cheap as the USA to live here but then again, most of the things about NZ that are great (people, places, climate) are free!

Spanners won't reply for a while...he's enjoying a 350 mile round trip to Rotorua on his bike...he said he's working. He just txt me bragging about it and how there will be free drinks when he arrives.....what an *** lol ...I shouldn't upset him because we are going to do the cam, lifters and rings on my bike in a couple of weeks... he's a top bloke !
