For Traildog
I just thought I should post a picture of my bike all cleaned up. I washed it today and there was bike under all that grime. Last time I washed it was 2 years ago and it will probably be 2 years before I wash it again. I live on a half mile of sand/gravel road so it just does not pay to wash it often. I do like to look at your totally detailed bike Traildog, I just can't keep mine like that. I did check it over after cleaning it and nothing had fallen off so all is good. I didn't use Seafoam however. Actually this picture was taken a few years ago after I washed it but you get the idea. Anybody else only wash there ride once a year or so?

The heat shields and various bolts get me every time. Rare I walk away without at least one knuckle bleeding.

Can't think of one time I hit it with a water hose!!!!!

Great looking Softy there Lion. Yep Texas, I think that counts. I have friends that have to have their bikes spotless, and others like me that don't. I do keep up on maintenance pretty well and keep the mechanics taken care of, but not so much with the cleaning. I do wipe down the tins and the chrome once in a while with Windex on a micro fiber towel, and the only reason I wash it is to get the front clean and get the bugs out of the motor fins. Unless it rains it will stay fairly clean for a few weeks.

Unless it rains it will stay fairly clean for a few weeks.
I do the same thing but I use a spray can of miracle wash and one of those blue cloth towels you get a home depot.
I was messing with my rear shocks the other day and almost decided to drag out the pressure washer. It is rather filthy under there. Then I decided it was more effort than it was worth.

I have a friend of mine that never even wipes his down and it sits out in the weather all the time.
