maybe THC, I doubt it because it is a 1" thru and thru. I had a dead spot (shall we say) on the last setup I had, they were Gatling Carlini rip-offs. The last were the beefy 1.25" but 1" controls and they were a tad long. I bought the same grips from the same manufacturer because I was amazed at how awesome they were, are. I had a crap pair on the first time but got lucky when I chose these. A pal is running some PM grips that looks like billet metal but they are awesome looking and feeling too but since we ride together a fair amount I don't wanne be a clone of him. lol
Thanks all,
Tom
Tom if you look at both grips the left hand one is longer than the throttle side.
It seems to have a part that would hook in the newer housings and lock it into place.
That is what I cut off to make everything sit on the bars right.

3/4 sounds about right from memory.
If you are very careful when you cut it off you can't even tell you cut anything off of it.
Remember it buts up to the switch housing.
I remember sliding it on then spending a couple of hours trying to figure out why it didn't look right.
Well to be honest with everyone (specially me) I ain't turned a fricken bolt on this ***** since the last post. It has been a brutally cold and chitty-long winter here in New England. I have spent more time with J86 than my own bike as I have 90% of a roof in my garage and no heat.... waaaaahh
I looked in on her this weekend and lo and behold she is still there. Dayum, insurance $$ woulda been nice. lol <--- Not True!
The previous owner(S) have made this thing an electrical nightmare and I am not going to get a used loom from eBay, too mysterious, not gonna dole out $400 for Thunder Heart nor Battastinis either.and of course a moco is too costly as well. Here are a few photos of the issues I am facing but that I will conquer. We all know Jasper is an electrician, so...
Truth be told the only thing that ain't working is the turn signal module. There is an intermittent electrical ground that shuts off the dash lights every other minute and I can see sparks one in a while but I may have cured that already. Maybe, lol
And yes she is dirty, something about a1995 Flstc that just lends itself to be a dirty hoe. Right Mike?
i told ya man, buy the pins/deutche connectors, I've got a pile of loom material, and a boatload of solder and shrink wrap. it won't be OEM, but at least we'll make it to Gloucester without all your lights shutting off again.
good thing that Phase7 headlight I got was bright enough for both of us lol
