Thanks Kick. I stuck a small hose in the tank hooked to a vacume and pulled a couple large chips of sealer out as in picture.

The thin chips of sealer wont get past the screen filter in the gas shute off but they they can disolve and gum up the carb over time. Probably would disolve if flaked off or stuck to the tank. Best to have a good sealer that wont desolve.
Only problem is the Mail carrier to and from which my mail man can tear up an anvil inside a titanium box. If I do the job Im gonna go to the 9th degree to do it right without my mail man.

Rust wise inside the tank as good as I could see with a flashlight was very minimal almost nonexistant.

Sounds like someone already put Kreem in your tank.
What you are describing is exactly what happens to Kreem when ethanol is added.

Ethanol will eat up the kreem and clog up your carb in the long run.

Try this

It is supposed to be the best tank sealer currently available

Wow. I used that Kreem when I got my bike over 7 years ago. Glad I've got ethanol free gas just around the corner.
