Rained all week and no miles, got the White Bike out today to put some more miles on it and starting getting brave. Found 2 situations that can happen that I have never experianced in a 1st gear rolling WOT, rear tire breaking loose going side ways and a RK going into a wheelie, experianced both those today. The tire breaking loose scared the chit out of me but the wheelie was just plain cool
Installed the 3" baffle and had to add fuel in the midrange and idle area, stayed ok in the upper RPM's when the Thunderjet took over. Engine dialed running smooth, ready to go and fought to urge to turn the rev limiter up, will keep it at 6000 to protect the engine from me.
First 2 up ride yesterday and engine is great, doesn't have any PMS factors. Fired it up at the first watering hole that brought a large percentage of bikers to the rail, my brother in law was across the street laughing.
Second watering hole was a gravel parking lot and several bikes parked behind me after being there for a while, fired it up and some bikers on the second level where laughing along with my brother in law, I looked back and the pressure of exhaust leaving created a dust storm behind my bike, we left quickly, first stop sign my brother in law said he made a mental note to not park behind my bike.
