Thanks, installing the monster engine is a challenge but rewarding. The 127 has a split personatlity of a lamb when 2 up riding and a wolf when throttle starts getting rolled, fuel mileage was the same as the new 103" running with so if you can stay out of it mpg isn't bad.

Bagger,
What is your gearing estimates? I know you're running gear ain't moco but it aint stock from each manufacturer either. I was at bigboyz calculator to check my fltr and thought of your thread. Ultima 127, six-speed "builder set" only right? And then your primary has been re-geared. For what? Not economy hence the 6 speed. Just for my own personal edification if you will...

3.37 final from the primary change and a OD6, 2500 rpm in 5th which is 1:1 and 6th drops to 2100 rpm which is still a comfort zone for the 127. My speedo is all whacked from the Baker sensor drive on a different gear but ridng with a new bike and running 55 mph.

With stock 3:15, 55 mph used to be 2100 or 2200 rpms in a 5th HD trans which is 1:1, so a OD6 will put 6th as a 65 mph gear and tough for a stock 80" but would be kick butt at long interstate runs.

I just think Evo's like to be around 2500 and the 3.37 allows accelleration, 5th is at 2500 for passing giddy up and 6th pulls back for cruise, the 127 can pull out of a 2100 in 6th to pass but it is a different animal.
