Well done brother.....reminded me of when I had a puppy years ago and the little bugger chewed part of the sofa....so like any man would, I chopped up a pair of old underwear of similar colour and hand stitched it on.....much to the disgust of my flatmates. Well I wasn't going to cut up a good T shirt was I ?

Cloth is cloth. Old underwear makes it to the shop rag pile just like old t shirts The best are the ones I use for polishing shoes that have the huge brown and black shoe polish stains when I toss them

Looks good! I was lazy and just paid a boot repair shop $50 to put one in my 80's vintage harley jacket. Doesn't look any better than your work and took them 2 weeks.

 

Very nice installation. Wear it with pride knowing that not many can do that kind of work. Also....I actually like the color of the zipper...makes it unique. Merry Christmas...the perfect gift to yourself!
