Shocks! Cheap shocks give a cheap ride Spanners, and I for one would steer clear of anything being sold without a known shocks brand on it. FFS they may even be Chinese....... 
You're a quality chap Spanners and we expect you to use quality stuff! So wait until you can afford some decent ones. The lower priced products from the likes of JRI 'A' and Ohlins #2 will knock spots off pretty well everything else and won't break the bank, if you get them from HDF sponsor Motorcycle Metal, with forum discount. JRI 'C' or Ohlins #3 will be a real treat!

Simplest way is to phone Howard, which is what I did. We talked through the various options available in the Ohlins range and the merits of each style (emulsion/separated/remote), which gave me the info I needed to make my choice. Took almost an hour, although we did talk about a lot of other stuff as well! You could email him as an alternative - mention my name!

I bought my Ohlins several years ago, but recent HDF member comments suggest discounts to HDF members are quite generous.
