Bike is an 85 Low Rider with stock forks and wheels. Possibly has one of the progressive front lowering kits installed, I believe it was springs and plastic spacers (?) I vaguely remember doing that quite a few years ago, anywhoo:
I am going to go with a different look. I want to go with a more touring style height in the front. I have 99 Road King wheels (both 16 inch), Wide Glide triples and dual disc lower legs. How do I go about figuring out what length fork tubes to use? I'm not sure what stock length touring fork tubes are.
Lowering kits do not usually include shorter tubes, so you may find that restoring the ride height to stock will achieve what you want. The touring version, the FXRT, has the same tube length and part number as your FXSB: #45392-83.
