Will a 09 EG seat work with my 92 EG?

no. seats up to 1996 fit. If I remember. I put a '96 on mine

Cant say, specifically, about an '09. However, my '95 has sported an '84 and curently an '05 with very little modifications.. So I would shy fron "no", but there is only one way to find out for sure.. I was recently reminded that you could easily cut or modify the seat pan as needed, depending on what your motive is..

I have a Lepera off of an 05 that I modified to fit my 95. I cut the tab off of the front and made a bracket out of flat bar to catch the tab on the bike. Works great ,no problems.

I have an '09 tank on my 1990 Glide. While Harley has successfully made the later tanks look very similar to earlier ones, it is actually much longer, so projects further rearwards on the frame. The mounting for the nose of the seat is also different. So while you may be able to make the seat mount on your bike, the nose of the seat won't fit up to your tank, also it will not overlap it as much. I would guess an earlier seat, say up to '07 would be more suitable.
