I run the chrome Fram. There is a guy here (in NC) that put over 400,000 on his evo. The part that kept everyone excited was that he did all those miles on Fram filters and non-HD oil. If I can remember his name I'll post it here. I wanna say it was like 426,000 miles on a 1987 FLHTC with no major engine work.

David Wylett I think it was... I believe the only major issue was a cam bearing and a few stators... but never went into the top end. Truly amazing. I don't recall if he had to change out the lifters any.
I do know HD gave him a brand new EGC or Ultra classic or something similar, and put his bike in their museum... after they tore it apart to see what the inside of the motor looked like.
