yes, but it barely keeps up and if I go two nights without the battery tender hooked up the battery is too low to make the bike run normally. I am replacing the battery when it comes in but when I saw this changing my shifter pawl I immediately associated the rough running with the battery and the failure to charge as it had in the past.
well you should check the stator output. you need the bike running and then check your voltage to make sure that its putting out the correct voltage. to be honest i've never had to change one on my evo bikes, but you could have other problems. somebody with more knowledge will be along, but i would suspect that if you have to charge the battery that often you have 1 of 3 things bad, the battery, the stator, or the voltage regulator.

The system as a whole produces the voltage identified in the manual. The parameters of the stator and regulator are within normal limits but the battery is subpar that is why I ordered one and it should be here tomorrow.
