Dam. I have a headache now.....I guess ill pull the plugs and take a look while I'm installing my new PIPE tonight.........
Mostly taking readings off the front plug. Fresh new plugs will give better readings.
First warm up engine on short 3-4 mile ride, then run thru the gears fast and hard about 1/2 mile just before you park it in your garage, you will get your best plug reading.
Also all this will change after pipe install, so just wait until pipe install.
Pull the clutch and kill it right away, like Spanners says, you can take a snapshot at different throttle openings.
Hold the throttle for a good while at the opening you want to check, or long as you can for a WOT check.
Usually referred to as a plug chop.
Yea aces, pulling the plugs on a hot engine makes you kinda worry about the plug hole threads, a little neverseeze and never had a problem.
Or just pull a beer out your saddlebag and sit there and let it cool, I never done that
Gooood! Lol thank you I've only had this bike for about 2 years and this year I went with full new exhaust, and a heavy breather I do all my own work so I wasn't too sure.....I still have a small dead spot in my tuning just over 25% throttle but idk how to fix that yet
