Left turn indicator always on...

Default Left turn indicator always on...
I have a 1991 electra glide uc. When the bike is in any on position, running or not, the left turn indicator is always on. It's just on, not flashing.

Turn signals work. Right signals flash and indicator flashes. Left lights flash, and the left indicator pulses. Doesn't go out but you can see it flash in the same rhythm as the right indicator. Hazards work correctly.

Any leads on how to track this issue down? I searched but didn't find anyone that had this problem. It's annoying having it on all the time.

Sounds like a flasher unit issue or wiring.

My guess would be a short between the TSM and the indicator. Pinched wire probably.

The Left, always on, but not doing anything, serving no purpose?
It's a Democrat bulb. Get rid of it.

Thanks for the help... all of you. I hope to be able to dig into it this weekend. Hopefully I can get it switched from NASCAR to become an ambi-turner and the dems kicked out for good.

Do you have running lights? If you do you may have a short in the indicator lamp between the flasher and running light circuits.
